The Knoxville Blazers closed the Georgia Hoops Classic with a 57–42 win over the Charlotte Thunder, capping a 4-0 run through the bracket. Tyler Davis led all scorers with 24 points on five made threes and was named Player of the Game.
After trading the middle quarters, Knoxville pulled away in the fourth, outscoring Charlotte 21–15 down the stretch. Michael Carter added 10 and LaMelo Robinson chipped in 6 off the bench. For Charlotte, James Johnson paced the Thunder with 16 and Kendrick Davis took POG honors with 9.
The title is Knoxville's fifth of the season and lifts the Blazers to #1 in the Tennessee 9th Grade rankings.
